6.5 Firmware update

Current running ﬁrmware version can be seen from the System->Status screen.

Arctic 3G ﬁrmware can be updated from the Tools->Firmware Update screen.

Note that ﬁrmware update erases all the settings on the unit to the factory defaults. It is recommended to

create backup from the old conﬁguration before attempting to update the ﬁrmware.

To update ﬁrmware:

1. Verify that you have a valid ﬁrmware on your PC before you attempt to update the ﬁrmware.

2. Select Select ﬁle button to open ﬁle browsing dialog. The actual dialog depends on the used browser.

3. Select updated ﬁrmware from the ﬁle dialog and return to ﬁrmware update screen.

4. Press Update button to start the ﬁrmware update.

5. Conﬁrm the update when asked to.

Update takes few minutes and the unit will restart with factory default settings when the update is done.
